EcoSphere AS · Terms of Service · Version 1.0 · June 2026
1. Agreement
By registering for and using the EcoSphere platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and EcoSphere AS ("EcoSphere", "we", "us").
2. The Service
EcoSphere provides a multi-tenant SaaS platform for ESG reporting, sustainability data management, emissions calculation, and AI-assisted document analysis. The platform is provided "as a service" on a subscription basis.
3. Permitted Use
- You may use the platform only for lawful ESG and sustainability reporting purposes
- You may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
- You may not share access credentials or allow concurrent use by unauthorised persons
4. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated outputs (report drafts, data summaries, classifications) are provided as assistance tools only. They do not constitute professional legal, financial, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before use in formal documents or submissions.
5. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform. By uploading data, you grant EcoSphere a limited licence to process that data solely for the purpose of delivering the service. We do not use your data for AI model training or commercial purposes outside the service.
6. Service Levels
EcoSphere targets 99.5% monthly uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. In the event of a service disruption affecting data, EcoSphere will notify affected customers within 24 hours.
7. Subscription and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually per user. Trials are valid for 14 days. Following a trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Invoices are due within 30 days of issue. Unpaid accounts may be suspended after 14 days' notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
EcoSphere's liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. EcoSphere is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or loss of data caused by your use of the platform or reliance on AI-generated outputs.
9. Data Processing
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for business customers, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to GDPR Article 28. By using the platform you agree to the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the DPA.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days, after which it will be securely deleted. EcoSphere may terminate for material breach with 14 days' notice and opportunity to cure.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be submitted to Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) as first instance.
